WANTED: Project Horse for our Trainee Instructor

WANTED

If you follow Aspire’s NewsBook you will know that I have had a lovely new volunteer assistant/trainee Aspire instructor joining me this month. Pippa is enjoying her role very much and I would like her to have a horse or two to work with as her project horses hence the Wanted poster.

We are looking for a horse that she could ride and have lessons on 2-3 times a week (or more) and which she could bring on to compete at grassroots level or affiliated. She would receive thorough training from myself and there would be no costs for owner for any schooling.

It could be a great opportunity for someone who perhaps has too many horses and no time to do them all justice or someone who might want to receive Aspire coaching at special rates while also having their horse schooled along our values and methods.

Pippa is a an already knowledgeable and kind rider and horseperson who is now looking to develop further and continue improving her skills as a rider, teacher and trainer. She has her BHS Stage 1, worked in a riding school for several years and later completed a rigorous programme at British Racing School followed by a few years of work at various racing yards.

Ideally we are looking for a 15.2hh – 16.2hh with potential to event at BE80/BE90 to start with. Pippa is very happy to work with ex racehorses or TB crosses but we will consider any horse, including a “problem horse”, as long as they are sound and confirmed to be pain free.

Thank you!
